Job Description:
- Deep understanding of the software development and QA life cycle processes (including test planning, test case design, execution, defect tracking and reporting)
- Prior experience driving issue resolutions with development.
- The candidate must understand best practices in QA testing to create a reliable testing framework and pipeline for robust product releases.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
- Adaptive, flexible and comfortable working in a matrix environment as a Sr. team member or an individual contributor.
- Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment.
- Implement and execute automated functional browser-based QA tests.
- Implement and execute integration, performance and API testing.
- Detect and report reproducible defects to the wider developer team.
- Collaborate with the developer team to ensure test coverage against requirements and user stories.
- Evaluate the testing process, make recommendations as necessary
- Be part of the scrum team to provide all necessary QA coverage Requirements
- Comprehensive experience of using test automation tools such as Selenium Webdriver,Cypress etc
- Expertise in Object-Oriented and/or Functional programming principles, development standards, practices and patterns, along with a thorough understanding of software architecture
- Experience in Postman, API Testing is a must
