The company is into major expansion plan and looking for young and talented people.Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java/Android/Kotlin code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Diagnose performance issues, fix bugs to increase the functionality of the application.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven software development experience and Android skills development in at least 2 Android app of medium to larger size.
- Strong Knowledge of Android SDK, Eclipse, Android Studio and/or appropriate equipment and software.
- Hands-on experience of creating custom UI controls, designing protocols, implementing interfaces, and performance optimization.
- Working knowledge of Web Services & REST (JSON) APIs.
- Working knowledge of SQL, SQLite.
- Working knowledge of customizing open source video player e.g. exo player
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT and SVN
- Worked on eLearning and Educational apps.
- Knowledge of PDF rendering and video streaming, HLS, etc.
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
- Experience with Barcode scanner for Android devices.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
