Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager-Automation Engineer
We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for dedicatedly working on developing solutions for identified use cases using scripting languages (python) and tools like Ansible (Yaml) to consistently drive the implementation towards the end state. Specialization in coding and scripting with Automation as core domain.
Responsibilities
Strong coding experience on script driven automation using scripting language like Python and PowerShell.
Problem Solving mindset
Rich Experience with Automation Frameworks like Ansible, Chef and Puppet
Experience in handling APIs (Application Programmed Interfaces) to harness automation capabilities offered by infrastructure products
Experience of working with Git or any other version management tools
Hands on Experience in automation using tools building complex workflows like configuration management and the provisioning of virtual network resources.
Good Understanding of agile methodology for project implementation, must have experience of handling projects agile way.
Having experience working on complex projects involving multiple technologies and tools
Bachelor s in computer science
Relevant years of experience in scripting language like Python, PowerShell, and data serialization language like Yaml
Has extensive expertise in working with Ansible and Ansible Tower
Good years of experience working on Automation projects, at least 2 projects with complete life cycle
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor s Degree engineering in computer science or master s degree as major a plus
Must have services experience in coding and Scripting in Python and Ansible.
Experience in implementation of automation solutions with significant depth around design
Sound experience in Information Technology. Expertise in tools Ansible, Puppet, PowerShell, Ansible Tower, DevOps.
Experience as Automation expert to deliver specific customer / internal solutions
Good verbal and written and communication skills
Preferred qualifications
Knowledge of Micro - services to enable Software defined automation capabilities.
Full stack developer and well versed in agile
Development Experience of AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, Open-Source cloud Computing Cloud stack, Open stack
Understanding of Incident, change and problem management.
Understanding network security, voice and server environments and connectivity.
Experienced in security system automation using scripting (Python) on Palo alto device will be a plus
