Inviting applications for the role of Tableau DeveloperResponsibilities
- Closely work with Customers on their requirements and convert into solutions
- Lead the team and guide and work accordingly
- Design end to end solution architecture and guide development teams in complex requirements
- Actively participate in knowledge augmentation initiatives
- Should be actively responsive to customers and mitigate issues such as product feature deficiencies and other objections
- Upgrade and Install Tableau Software Plan and execute patches, minor and major release upgrades for Tableau Products
- Create/manage Tableau Projects/Tableau metadata in various environments to facilitate development and testing.Maintian Project and object level security consistent with project requirement s in consultation with senior administrator, architects and project teams.
- Implement Change management processes to migrate Tableau projects and objects between QA, UAT and Production environments
- Mange Cube builds, refreshes and monitoring
- Work closely with report domains architects and suggest configuration and process changes to improve the reliability, scalability, and supportability of Tableau environment
- Maintain Scripts and documentation related to Product suite
- Maintain Data recovery and Backup
- Must have experience optimizing dashboards for performance
- Experience manipulating tableau metadata
- Experience with Tableau extensions
- Passion for visual design and user experience
- Must be comfortable analyzing business created reports and making suggestions for improving performance and usability
- Must be comfortable turning around complete PoCs in 1-2 days
- Experience with Tableau Prep and Ask Data a plus
- Comfortable pushing the limits of what s possible with tableau
- Experience maintaining a tableau change log
- Experience leveraging and maintaining tableau templates
- BE/B Tech/ MCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good Tableau development experience with complex data models
- Solid relevant experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep.
- Strong Experience with Postgress.
- Experience with SQL Deep understanding of techniques (e.g.: Greenplum, AWS Aurora and Postgres)
- Extensive Tableau Implementation and Architecting experience including latest version
- Strong experience in Tableau Development, enhancement, and Migration.
- Excellent understanding of tool functions, limitations, and hidden features
- Tableau server installation and configuring/ administration, added advantage
- Experience with creation of users, groups, projects, workbooks and the appropriate permission sets for Tableau server logons and security checks
- Understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- Strong SQL reporting skills with the ability to create SQL views and write SQL queries to build custom datasets for reporting or analysis
- Migration and Upgrade experience is added advantage
- Tableau Server Cluster Management and Performance tuning is added advantage
- Proven track record of performance tuning, handling data issues
- Good knowledge in Banking & Financial domain is a great plus
- Sound understanding of using Tableau with multi- dimensional data sources such as OLAP cubes
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving attitude
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills, with strong ability to quickly learn and comprehend business processes and problems in order to effectively develop technical solutions to their requirements
- Good interpersonal, problem solving and verbal communication skills
- Creative ways of solving problems efficiently and logically
- Development experience in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Solid grasp of distributed architecture.
