Job Description
As a UI Java developer you will be responsible for the following:
- Analyze and evaluate application requirements and provide recommendations of possible software solutions
- Architect and implement solutions using different technologies
- Design, develop, configure, test, and implement J2EE, Angular, Spring based applications.
- Analyze and design databases within an application area
- Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, APIs, application integrations and testing tools.
- Address problems of system integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms and defects encountered in System Testing and UAT.
- Implementation of Automation tools/utilities using DevOps, Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Develop and deliver the artifacts in Agile methodology
- Coordinate with internal and external teams located at both onshore and offshore. Share project status and progress on weekly/monthly basis.
Education: Bachelor/Master of Computer Application or equivalent engineering/IT degree from an accredited University.
Technical Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience in implementing and managing high performance scalable enterprise applications with one or more of the following technologies: Java 8,, RESTful/SOAP Web Services, JPA, Spring Boot framework, JavaScript, jQuery and microservices
- Good knowledge of architecture, design patterns, Object Oriented Design methodologies, SOA and data modeling techniques
- Experience in front-end development technologies frameworks like HTML/CSS, Nodejs, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap and other similar frameworks for building fully responsive and customized UIs
- Good Understanding of Relational databases like MS SQL along with hands on experience of JPA or Hibernate
- Expertise on 1 or more Spring modules - Spring security, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, Spring JMS
- Experience on application servers like Tomcat, WebLogic etc.
- Proficiency in using BitBucket for source control management and Maven/Gradle for build tools
- Expertise in DevOps tooling like Jenkins, Jira, SonarQube etc.
- Good knowledge of the API design ecosystem like Swagger, Open API, RAML, YAML, Smart Doc etc.
