Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with Dot net (Web, Windows) Framework 4.0 +, Web service, API, MVC, C#, HTML5, CSS3, Angular JS (Optional) and Bootstrap, Intity framework Database: MS SQL server 2012 +, oracle (optional) and MySQL (Optional) Research into new tools, techniques and best practices + facilitating knowledge sharing within team Coding for high-risk/high-complexity areas or establishing patterns for other developers to follow Conduct meetings on software designs, applications and code reviews Validate requirements of business needs and initiate processesKey Professional Attributes:
Ability to work with tight deadlines Team-player with strong communication & collaboration skills Exceptional project management skills Prior experience in leading development teams is a plus Excellent problem-solving skillsRoles and Responsibilities
- Management of software development tasks, contributing to project deliverables, and validating the quality of deliverables
- Analyzing the technology environment, enterprise specifics and documenting requirements
- Lead in designing, specifying and selecting information system solutions, considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance.
- Work with the subject matter experts (SME) to develop a high level project schedule, resource plans for implementation projects.
- Participate in the process flow analysis and process redesign along with the Delivery Manager
- Production of technical design and specification documentation at appropriate levels of granularity, which can be understood by technical, functional and business audiences
- Provide current best practice and solution alternatives as part of the functional design document
- Participate and lead, if needed, the project meetings with the leads
- Working directly with stakeholders to help refine product roadmaps and requirements
- Develop future web architecture and design a structure that is stable, scalable, resilient and performant.
- Act as visionary and strategist for solution product area
- Write, or direct the writing of white papers that add further insight and thought in the solution area
- Mentor and guide a team of direct reports.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience on Microsoft Azure cloud platform preferred
- Hands-on expertise in Microsoft technologies: .NET framework 4.x Or .NET Core 3.x, C#, ASP.NET MVC5, including SOAP, RESTful, .NET and related technologies (JSON, XML, etc.), version control git flow and Database technologies (MSSQL, MySQL, , stored procedures)
- Knowledge in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives
- Good knowledge and understanding of Web Service APIs for integration purposes
- Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) or other project methodology practices
- Self-starter with the ability to appropriately prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment with new technologies
- Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of product
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills - demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the success of project
- Ability to communicate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong technical written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
- Must be able to exhibit technical thought leadership, amongst both peers and business leads
Having basic knowledge on .net core 3.1+ with any framework design and OOPs concepts (ASP.net MVC framework is preferable) is an added advantage.
