Are you the one we are looking for
We are inviting applications for the role of Tax Specialist I
Were looking for dynamic, experienced Tax Specialist I in our Portland, OR office where they are offering permanent placement role.
Responsibilities:
Input tax return information pertaining to appropriate tax jurisdiction and tax type.
Review and distribute mail communication related to the Tax Department
Record tax values as appropriate per client
Update rates in proprietary systems
Correspond with IT department monthly to confirm loading of Vertex rates
Please note that due to the nature of this client s business, a confidentiality/non- disclosure notice will need to be signed prior to interviewing for this role. A copy will be provided to you prior to any scheduled interview.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Data entry experience preferred
Attention to detail and tech savvy
Typing/10 key (60 WPM/10,000 KPH)
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft office applications
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Basic computer skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a group/team environment
Appropriate Phone/email etiquette
The ability to follow processes/procedures
