Desired Candidate Profile
We are primarily looking for a motivated candidate with experience and studies on video compression/processing technologies. Knowledge on the latest video coding standards, such as High Efficiency Video Coding, is a prerequisite to apply to this position. Your toolbox of skills includes software development skills in C or C++ and experience on other programming languages, such as Python and Matlab, is appreciated. Machine learning skills is considered a plus. Key responsibilitiesCandidate should be able to provide significant technical leadership in the development of video coding Algorithms with the aim of improving compression performance and enabling new user experiences.
This position will involve participating in hands-on research work as well as in standardization activities.
Candidate should be able to code on both client and server languages .
Client side technologies android java programming language and server side Node JS programing language . Requirements To succeed in this exciting role, we expect you to have 4+ years of relevant experience on algorithms for video coding
Solid Knowledge in Android SDK , Android java programming knowledge.
Experience in Node Js and Frameworks.
Solid experience in software development skills.
Strong background and knowledge in the area of image and/or video compression.
Expertise in the latest video coding standards, such as High Efficiency Video Coding.
Experience in frameworks like FFMPEG is considered .
Solid mathematical skills.
Ability to work and make decisions independently.
The following additional skills or experience are valued:
Knowledge on video or imaging hardware, FPGA, and GPU implementations.
Knowledge on 360-degree video/image processing.
Machine learning skills preferred.
Experience of international standardization is considered a significant benefit.
Increased awareness of issues outside of your own subject area.
