Looking for a SAP BTP Sr. Software Engineer (Senior Enterprise Solutions Specialist (Tech)). The ideal candidate should have excellent hands-on experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), formerly known as SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) with a deep understanding of SAP application design . Candidate should have good experience in SAP Sales & Logistics processes as it pertains to custom development in that area. A good understanding of general SAP system architecture is expected. Written and verbal communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into custom applications/enhancements is key to be successful in this role.
SAP BTP Sr. Software Engineer with project-based experience in SAP s Business Technology Platform (formerly SAP Cloud Platform), Development and Administration:
SAP Fiori application development
Development using SAP Cloud Foundry
Mobile Services development
General Portal Services development
Overall Experience level: 3-5 years of experience in SCP/BTP development with at least 2 years of experience in Fiori development
Location: This position will be based as work from home.
Travel Expectations: Remote and UST office [all subject to COVID restrictions]
Reporting into: Director, SAP Operations

As a SAP BTP Sr. Software Engineer , you will
work with technical and business-oriented teams, to work collaboratively with employees within departments, across functions and external clients.
be responsible to develop or customize cloud-based solutions for internal productization, as well as customer-driven clients:
You possess extensive skills and experience in SAP BTP development and deployment processes on both the Neo and Cloud Foundry environments using HANA Cloud DB services and other data sources
You will create comprehensive technical specifications or configuration documents
You translate solution design into efficient software code or enhanced configuration.
You conduct code reviews and adjustments when needed
Use your strong communication skills to interface with internal groups as well as customers
Collaboratively work in virtual teams as well as in person
Use your Experience with one or more of the modern SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, SAP Activate or others) to be involved in most tasks of the development cycle: starting from requirements definition, application design (front-and backend) to configuration and unit testing, assistance, and follow-up with user testing, all the way to training and post-live support and fixes where applicable.
Build professional relationships with clients, management, and team members to ensure delivery of proposed solutions, support for development of business possibilities and for personal development
Contribute to high productivity and motivation of working team with the use of your communication skills and cooperation; reach and realize project aims and outputs
Requirements:
Good written, verbal, and presentation skills in English
Ability to work in: India
Top 3 must have:
Project-based experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (formerly SAP Cloud Platform), Development and Administration using CloudFoundry (primary) and Neo (secondary)
Experience in development across technologies like SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, Python, JAVA, JavaScript
Experience in HANA development (data services, CDS, etc.) and ABAP Programming Model for Fiori
Good to have:
Low-code/no-code experience (e.g., Mendix, Appian, Betty Blocks, etc.) will be an advantage
Hands-on experience in using tools Git, Web IDE and Eclipse to develop Fiori applications desired
Experience in SAP independent architecture concepts like MVC, Micro services and web services are desirable
