Job Description

The job of building engineers is to provide advice on design, installation, and maintenance of energy-efficient and cost-effective systems for all building services, including lighting, water, and air conditioning.

Typically these systems will include heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), water and drainage, lighting, power, ICT, lifts and escalators, control systems, and so on (see Building services for more information)

First of all, what is architectural engineering The primary responsibility of an architectural engineer is to focus on a building's engineering aspects. A person in this role designs the mechanical and structural systems of a building, as well as managing challenges that arise with its electrical and lighting systems.
