Position Summary
Develops the sales strategy for Chem, Refining and Oil & Gas market and is responsible for achievement of sales targets for the market. Serves as an expert for the market and is responsible for keeping abreast on the global and local business environment and its impact to customers within the market. Responsible for marketing and promotional efforts to continually engage new, existing and past customers.

Collaborate with Sales Managers, Field Engineers, Projects Team, Sales Engineers & Marcom.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
1.Accountable for the achievement of sales targets for the market, assessing sales achievement-to-date on an ongoing basis to analyse opportunities and improvements.
2.Develops marketing plan, relevant marketing / promotional materials and continually engages new, existing, and past customers.
3.Develops the sales strategy for application selling with sales teams to increase sales on focus applications.
4.Technical / Project discussions / Negotiation meetings with customer.
5.Preparing a dossier containing targeted applications in Oil & Gas Upstream, Midstream & Downstream.
6.Ensuring that the sales team is well equipped with application/industry knowledge, and soft skills in order to engage with customers effectively.
7.In-depth understanding of company and competitor products/applications and their application in different markets.
8.Visit customers along with Sales Engineers. 50% of the time will be spent visiting customers outside the base location.

Core Competencies Required
1.Possesses an in-depth understanding of operations in Refineries and Petro Chemical units.
2.Should have great contacts within the industry.
3.Exposure in handling EPC accounts.
4.Ability to work under pressure in a collaborative environment to deliver or exceed results.
5.Excellent written and verbal communication
6.Must be able to create exceptional presentations and business proposals.
7.Must be detail oriented and an active listener.

Education, Professional Qualification, Experience & Skills
1.Education : Graduation in B.E / B.Tech Mechanical or Instrumentation engineering.
2.Experience: Min 5 years of work experience in Chem and Refining sector or EPC. Preferably from a MNC.
