Job Description
Maintain records, such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, control records.
Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and dentists, by calculating, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, or oversee these activities.
Advise customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment and health-care supplies.
Providing advice about health issues, symptoms and medications in response to customer enquiries.
Processing prescriptions and dispensing medication
Ordering, selling and controlling medicines and other stock
Proper stock management
Managing budgets
Keeping statistical and financial records
Preparing publicity materials and displays
