They serve customers through the breadth of innovative product technologies encompassing brushless DC, brush DC, can stack motors, disc magnet motors & stepper linear actuators to optimize application performance. Reports to: Manager Design & Development
Position Summary:
- This position will be responsible for learning about & supporting the engineering design of Motor, Drives & Encoders& will be involved in various innovation projects related to the same.
- The incumbent will work collaboratively with Engineering & Cross-functional Teams based out of India, Switzerland & the USA for developing drivers that are easy to use.
- In the role will also be required to work closely with external suppliers/partners for complex motion solutions
Education & Experience
- PhD in PowerElectronics/ DigitalElectronics/ Electronics/E&T / Engineering with 0 to 5 years experience in Motor Control applications
- Prior Graduation in Electrical Engineering, with Electrical Motor Design, will be most suited
- Exposure to motion Control,Mechatronics & Robotics will be added advantage
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- New products definition & development.
- Passionate forMechatronicsolution
- UnderstandElectronicDriverfor Electric Motor & their applications.
- Help the team to elaborate electronics product road map.
- From VOC Define product specifications.
- From product specifications, develop concepts, design a solution, or work with external partners.
- Ensure new projects are respecting milestones & the development process.
- Sales support
- Work closely with the Business development team & Product Line Manager to propose solutions. Help them to build a product road map.
Functional Competencies:
- Knowledge of analog & digital circuit design for Electric Motors, Drives & Feedback Sensors, Encoders, or similar products
- Knowledge of Measurement instruments like Digital Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Function Generator/Spectrum Analyzer
- Should have a good understanding of GD&T, Stack-up Analysis & engineering drawings.
- Understanding of electronic PCB designs
- Knowledge of embedded System Developmentcapability is an added advantage
- Knowledge of16/32 Bit Microcontroller
- Knowledge ofLab VIEWis an added advantage

- Internal: Engineering, Product Management, BU director, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing
- External: Customers, Suppliers
