Craft and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
Give in all phases of the development lifecycle.
Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
Prepare and produce releases of software components.
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting thesehey okay okay yeah for architectural review.
Work closely with Eng/operations teams to design, build, and maintain the platform, provide inputs to decide on products/engineering solutions to use.
Identify and drive opportunities to improve resiliency automation.
Represent the resiliency engineering organization in design, engineering reviews and game day exercises and chaos experiments for new and existing services.
Experience in working with distributed systems and working with high scale services.What you'll Do
4 - 7 years of development experience using Java / Java EE.
Hands on experience in designing and developing web application using Java EE platformsObject Oriented analysis and design using design patterns
Experience developing distributed scalable multithreaded server-side applications.Experience in the Spring Framework
Experience with Hibernate ORM.
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, Mongo DB, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
Experience writing high performance transactional SQL queries.
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
Deep understanding of Unix and Linux operating system level concepts such as processes, memory allocation, and the network stack understanding of how applications are affected by the above, and ability to debug same.
Awareness of, and ability to reason about modern software systems architectures, including load-balancing, queueing, caching, distributed systems failure modes generally, micro services, and so on.
Good understanding of Observability (monitoring, logging, tracing, metrics), Chaos engineering concepts.

• Proficiency in using Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tool New Relic for monitoring, logging, tracing.
• Expert level hands on knowledge in public cloud platform AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform. Professional level certificate on one of the public clouds is highly desirable.

Must be a self-starter, possess excellent time management skills, and be able manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-oriented and fast paced environment.
Ability to generate requirements, estimates and plan for projects.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must LOVE problem solving.
