Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager- MDM (Master Data Management) Data ArchitectIn this role, The Data Architect will design and implement the data strategy and architecture underpinning our MDM solution. The Data Architect will help design optimal solutions to support the MDM solution, employing best practices for data modelling, retention, and security, as well as data brokerage between supporting systems, Other responsibilities include collaborating with the Enterprise Data Architect to enforce architectural best practices and standards, manage the overall health and roadmap of the platform.
Responsibilities
- Ensure master data integrity in key systems and maintain the processes to support the data quality
- Identify areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
- Ensure quality of master data in key systems, as well as develop and document processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity
- In collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards, define and implement data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable
- Aid in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards.
- Manage, analyze, and resolve data initiative issues and manages revisions needed to meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards
- Define, design, and build an MDM Data model and Data transformation rules to meet business needs.
- Assist in the application and implementation procedures of data standards and guidelines on data ownership, coding structures, and data replication to ensure access to and integrity of data sets
- Conduct data cleaning to rid the system of old, unused data, or duplicate data for better management and quicker access
- Develop and implement strategies to translate business requirements and models into feasible and acceptable MDM designs to ensure that business needs are met
- Provide data consulting in support of business and information technology initiatives to clients to improve client database systems
