Inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst, Model Risk Operations, Reporting and Oversight (MRO)
Responsibilities
Work to support the MRO team which functions to centrally manage the Model Risk (MR) intake process providing point of support for project coordination, ongoing model monitoring, and centrally manage model workflows to increasing consistency and ensure accuracy of the model inventory
Support the execution of accurate and efficient reporting solutions for risk, regulatory, and management information to internal and external stakeholders including regulatory bodies
Maintain Validation Procedures and Templates, Coordinate SAP Activities for Model Risk, Provide support for Internal and External Audit
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
Master s degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent experience
Experience in using Excel, Python/R for academic projects or internships
Conceptual knowledge of statistical predictive methodologies and/or machine language algorithms
Good communication/presentation skills written & verbal
Self-driven, proactive, quick learner with a can-do attitude. Ability to work under ambiguity and with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
Understanding of banking operations and lending products
Theoretical understanding of Credit Risk metrics
Hands-on experience using statistical methodologies/ML algorithms during academic project/internship
Hands-on expertise in Excel, Python/R
