Are you the one we are looking for
We are inviting applications for the role of Manager, Commodity Manager
In this role, you will be responsible to drive Sourcing and Procurement of strategies for specific commodities Electrical/ Mechanical
Responsibilities
Analyze current spend and commodity complexities
Understand market trend, innovations, and client challenges
Understand supplier competencies and dependencies
Frame and develop long term and short-term strategies for Sourcing and Supplier Management
Implement and run SRM programs with clear Project Charter and Milestones
Work on supplier development and new supplier identification and market innovations
Deliver the commodity strategies as defined
Detail the cost savings forecast
Monitor resulting contracts to ensure value is generated and hits the bottom line
Anticipate potential problems and risks, and generates ideas, insight and solutions to resolve or head off potential problems, followed by decisive action to implement solutions
Be able to drive crucial and challenging negotiations
Be able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and resolve conflict
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications/Skills
University graduate in Engineering
Vast experience in Sourcing and Procurement
Good experience in Strategic Sourcing
Strong technical knowledge of commodities, drawings and specifications
Good command over English language ( Speaking, Reading and Writing)
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
Post Graduate with Supply Chain & Procurement certifications like CPM/CPIM
Certification in Project Management
Good command over any SAP (preferably PMX)
Strategic Sourcing experience especially in the Aviation or Power industries
Good understanding of Sourcing & Procurement and supply chain processes in manufacturing industry
Good knowledge of MS-Office applications like Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook etc.
