Inviting applications for the role of Technical Associate - L1 Monitoring
This role will consist of managing service desk team which will include performance, escalations, team admin issues and driving improvements. Along with other project related task on adhoc basis and managing relationship with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- ITIL awareness with project management skills. Strong skills in enterprise monitoring technologies
- IT monitoring/alerting (environment/element management) experience in operations
- Good understanding about application of various statistical tools in data analysis and Problem solving
- Experience in the tools like ServiceNow, and monitoring systems and strong understanding of SLA s
- Working with Incident, Change, and Problem management to define and implement processes
- Working with support groups to define technology services and implement them in the Service Catalogue
- Experience in managing and delivering internal monitoring support functions
- Experience working with both Windows and Red Hat and an understanding of VMware or equivalent virtualization technology
- Experience preparing technical reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems
- Experience in preparing reports using multiple tools like MS Office and OneNote
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications- Must have a technology and service desk background
- Graduate in any stream
- ITIL certification is preferred
Preferred qualifications
- Demonstrated on-the-job experience performing network security analysis and risk management
- Troubleshoot all aspects of monitoring application issues effectively and understand the product configuration, flow and logging in detail
- Experience in virtualized infrastructure monitoring and exploitation virtual machines, storages, and networks
- Proven project coordination skills and experience in planning, development, and implementation of projects with multiple objectives
- Excellent written, analysis, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong presentation skills; ability to lead technical discussions
- Self-driven individual with strong written and verbal skills
- Demonstrates the highest standards of professional behaviour in dealing with clients, colleagues and staff
