We are looking for a stellar QA Team Lead to help us build our next generation IoT/Embedded devices.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Hands-on QA Director to join our team in Mumbai. We are looking for a player/coach who will start in a hands-on role and transition to more management as the QA team grows. Looking for someone with 8-10 years managing QA teams. Overseeing the Design and implement testing infrastructures by overseeing QA testers who write code to validate a large scale application deployment, partner with software developers to create/code test tools and implement automation concurrent with product development. In this role, you will need to possess a broad view of the entire product deployment to ensure appropriate/efficient re-use of existing libraries, methods, classes, etc. in developing adequate automation tools and infrastructures. In addition, you will have following responsibilities:

• Design and implement testing infrastructures and write code to validate a large scale application deployment, partner with software developers to create/code test tools and implement automation concurrent with product development. In this role, you will need to possess a broad view of the entire product deployment to ensure appropriate/efficient re-use of existing libraries, methods, classes, etc. in developing adequate automation tools and infrastructures.
• Participate in software code/design/requirements review processes to assist with deciding what unit tests to write and ensure testability of new code
• Collaborate with Software Development teams in maintaining consistency and testability. Worked with developers on all aspects of quality in software, database, migration and maintenance routines
• Collaborate with Software Quality Assurance, System Engineering and Architecture, Program Management, and Software Development teams

Required Skills:

• 5+ yrs experience with Embedded software
• 5+ yrs experience with IoT/Embedded devices.
• 5+ yrs experience with Python, and Java applications
• 5+ yrs experience with APIs and cloud applications
• 5+ yrs experience with automation tools.
• 5+ yrs Experience with scrum development, Jira & Git/SVN
• 5+ yrs Experience with App development on iOS and Android.
• Strong networking knowledge.
• Hands on knowledge of IoT
• Hands on knowledge of Unix/Linux.
• Must Know Test Automation and Test Releases
• Good oral and written communication skills in English

• Must be able to Interface with multiple cross functional teams.
• Must be able to oversee a team of 2-10 people
