Inviting applications for the of Lead Consultant Web Ops Support
Responsibilities:
- Should have worked as a team player or independent contributor in an enterprise scale environment.
- Must be able to understand the requirements and ability to work on requirement independently with minimum support.
- Must have experience on Web Middleware Production support (Java, IIS, Apache, TomCat, Jboss)
- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Should possess knowledge to grasp the existing setup/tools, find scope for improvement, plan and execute them.
- Good English writing and speaking ability is required to write SOPs, Readme files, change logs, carry out demos, update status to leads on ongoing and completed tasks/projects.
- Work on automation tasks using organisation approved development tools/applications.
- Knowledge or experience on creation of custom scripts (shell / bash/ python/ Perl etc.)
- Should have sound knowledge and hands on experience with Jenkins
- Should be proficient in performance tuning, troubleshooting
- Should have good learning skills and must be willing to take up any challenge
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like New Relic
- Supporting Operation and Build teams by automating frequently performed operation tasks, builds and patching.
- Must be able to handle Team and customer Management
Technical Requirement
- Should have sound knowledge and working Experience on IT Middleware Platforms such as Jboss, tomcat, apache, WebLogic, IIS.
- Good knowledge of AWS and Azure platform. (One of these is Mandatory).
- Manage configurations, implementation and maintenance of jboss, tomcat,Weblogic etc application servers
- Extensive working experience is desired on Linux & its flavours platforms. ( Centos or RHEL is must)
- Working knowledge with cloud core services, like - VM, images compute, Storage, network, Resource group, Tagging, IAM, Serve less , Lambda Functions, Cloud Formation, etc.
- Should have worked with tools like Jenkins and its administration
- Awareness on tools widely used in DevOps. Following are preferred - GIT, Jenkins, Docker, Chef, Terraform, Ansible, AZ Repo, AZ-Pipeline/Release.
- Need autonomous and have a continuous improvement mindset.
- Scripting knowledge for automation
- Knowledge on Design and implementation of reusable server provisioning with tools such as Ansible/chef
- Experienced in adhering to Security & Patch management standards, handling & usage of open source code and tools.
Qualification we seek in you
Minimum qualification:
Bachelor s Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Preferred qualifications
Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role. In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude
Knowledge on ITIL Service Management framework
