Inviting applications for the role of Solution Consultant o9 - Supply Chain Consulting
As a Solution Consultant, you ll work externally with clients to help identify their most pressing supply chain and operational challenges, and internally collaborate with your colleagues to design, develop, deploy, and support solutions. Consultants work on multifaceted projects that demand analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, effective communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
You ll work with clients to improve their strategies, processes, and operational alignment. Our focus is on technology-enabled business transformation. Projects range from short, multi-week assessments to phased multi-month design and implementations and everything in-between. The variety of projects provide consultants with a dynamic and highly challenging opportunity to grow and learn.
The Solution Consultant provides expert guidance to our clients on how to best implement and utilize the o9 Platform and other supply chain technology solutions to achieve sustained value.
Responsibilities
- Work with client to brainstorm ideas and understand business requirements
- Collaborate with the project team to design solutions and project plans to meet client needs
- Configure the o9 Platform and other supply chain technology solutions according to the client business requirements
- Resolve complex data and analytic configurations to ensure that the solution is producing the expected results
- Integrate and customize solutions to satisfy client-specific processes and business requirements
- Provide high levels of client service
Qualifications we seek in you
- Bachelor s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or other relevant work experience
- Post graduate certifications such as APICS-CPIM, CSCP or similar supply chain certifications preferred
- Skills: Deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts including Demand Management, Distribution Planning, Master Planning and S&OP.
- Three or more years of experience in supply chain management or with deep functional knowledge in at least one area of supply chain planning: i.e. operations, demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, logistics optimization, or supplier network optimization
- Experience leading supply chain teams, training, or projects; full project management experience preferred
- Experience leading workshops in change management or other consulting methodologies
- Knowledge of supply chain systems, processes and data, and business operations
- Experience in software implementation or functional enablement a plus
- Analytical skills and a capacity to work with large data sets a plus
- Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to immediately contribute in a team environment
- An ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus
- Strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire and demonstrated ability to learn self-directed
- Programming languages (SQL, MDX, T-SQL or similar), statistical, optimization and simulation skills through software tools and packages (R, SAS, CPLEX or similar) is desirable
