Job Description:Role Overview
We are seeking for a FIX Specialist to work in our Product Engineering team. You will be part of our Engineering team that is responsible for Development , Design and Unit Testing of our products.
The software development process is based on an array of integrated tools which ensures high quality of the products and deliveries.

As a FIX engineer you will build and certify outgoing gateway connections using FIX protocol to various brokers on trading product.
Responsibilities
Analyze FIX Broker ROEs/FIX specification and being able to map it to available functionality in Tbricks, highlight any possible gaps to developers.
Create/modify the necessary configuration and rules in Tbricks for creating a new FIX gateway as per the ROE.
Create test strategies and plans. Works with all stakeholders of SDLC to ensure software quality. After testing provides feedback to developers on potential changes.
Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts and programs for continuous integration testing.
Test and pass the certification testing of the gateway with the broker
Analyze and writes test standards and procedures including testing the gateway with various algorithmic trading apps used by the customer on the Tbricks platform.
Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.
Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.
Your Profile

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Computers/IT or equivalent.
Experience in working with FIX protocol based systems (e.g. FlexTrade, Ullink, Catalys, Cameron FIX, Sungard etc.)
Familiarity with major programming languages like Java or C++
Basic familiarity with financial markets, exchanges and financial instruments (options, futures and stocks)
An interest in working with and servicing clients
Good knowledge of working in Linux based systems
Be a motivated team player, with excellent problem-solving skills
Stress resistant.
Desirable skills
Knowledge on FIX onboarding process and Certifications
Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, BASH, etc.
Good knowledge of XML
Good working knowledge of GIT
Familiarity with bamboo for continuous integration
