Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Testing
When building software, we will be going through many stages from initial requirements to go live, it s important to ensure that everything works according to specification.
That s why we re looking for a quality assurance engineer to help us maintain our high level of quality.QA tester will hunt bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they re dealt with.
Responsibilities
- Involved with design, implementation, post-implementation of Digital applications.
- Perform Manual & Functional Testing.
- Work closely with cross functional teams in understanding the requirements
- Modify test case template accordingly if needed and develop test cases.
- Provide test case coverage and defect metrics/reports to substantiate release decisions.
- Work on day-to-day issues and coordinate with development team as necessary.
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment. Effectively able to work as a team member as well as independently.
- Qualifications
B.Tech /M.Tech or MCA in Computer Science
Preferred qualifications:
- Good knowledge on automation and willingness to automate (Selenium and Cucumber)
- Must have excellent analytical skill to find root cause and reproduce the issue.
- Understand assigned tasks/jobs, their functional requirements.
- Clear Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Experience in Agile Methodology.
- Experience in Manual and Functional Testing area
- Good knowledge on automation testing
- Well verse in understanding requirements, scenario identification, writing test cases, test case execution.
- Able to work under minimal supervision and be self-directed.
- Able to work with global team members including time zone flexibility
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to work in a challenging and dynamic environment
- problem-solving skills to find bugs
- Attention to detail test web and conversational AI applications to find ways to improve them and isolate problems, must be highly detail oriented
- Communication skills good verbal communication skills to optimally collaborate with the engineering team and create written reports showing errors and testing plans
