Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant Scala, Spark, Java, Big Data/Hadoop/Financial Crime Technology
A leader in this role will work to grow the business through creating groundbreaking technical solutions in order to maintain and grow our client base. Use of technical solutions to transform and analyze large data sets is crucial to this role. Also necessary is expertise in big data, data storage and retrieval, methods of analysis and statistical calculation, optimization and algorithm design and implementation. As a technical leadership role, comfort in quickly designing and explaining solutions to clients is key. Working both directly and indirectly for clients, one would need excellent consulting and technical skills and the ability to work with both high level business leaders and technical staff.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for following:
- Execute Financial Crime Compliance/Regtech projects of various types i.e. Design, development, Implementation and migration of FCC analytics Models/Business logic across architecture approaches
- Work as Spark/Scala/Java/Hadoop framework developer for leading Wall Street Banks
Understand the Business and Data aspect of requirements in view of FCC obligations and business requirements of organization - Work closely with Business Analysts to understand the core business problems and deliver efficient IT solutions; communicate efficiently and optimally. QA and BA Team to ensure high quality of the product
- Deployment of code using Dev Ops/Deployment frameworks and tools like Gradle, ANT, CICD, Jenkins etc
- Intervene towards optimizations SQL Queries and UI/middleware code level
- Run Sprints for development and rollout of functionalities
- Stabilizing the developed solution
- Data Analysis, Code development on Scala/Python/Spark environment
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Technology/Engineering; Computer Science or any equivalent degree
- Strong IT Project execution experience in Spark/Scala technology.
- Experience Kafka, Amazon EMR, Python.
- Hands on development experience in Scala, Spark, Hive, Map Reduce, YARN, PIG and HDFS platform. core Java technology
- Proficiency in data analysis, data profiling, and data lineage
