Job Description
Shift: Need to be flexible working in night shifts (EST)
This position is responsible to develop, lead, mentor and coach the IT support team to deliver excellent technical support with outstanding customer service, satisfaction and timeliness within the organizations budget. This position has frequent contact with customers, direct reports, peers and independent vendors.
- Perform functions of IT Support Services team as needed to support operations.
- Develop, implement and manage an Information Technology end user training program
- Maintain compliance with all IT General Controls, Policies and Procedures
- Provide assistance, guidance and coaching on support and service issues
- Develop, improve existing and manage standards and procedures within the team
- Review business objectives and targets with the team
- Review priorities and take appropriate action to ensure results are achieved
- Liaison with Onshore stakeholders and other functional teams
- Develop and maintain processes that relate to computer hardware and software inventory control, and user support
- Develop, manage and improve standards, policies and procedures within the team
- Manage difficult or controversial support situations calls are received, create AAR as necessary for coaching and training purposes
- Vendor management related to procurement of IT equipment and peripherals.
Education & Qualifications
- 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience managing, supervising, leading and developing a technical support team
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant user support with a strong customer service orientation and proven support experience in a corporate environment
- Experience in project management.
