This is to announce that Wipro is hiring for Application Packaging Engineer(L2/L3)
Location: Bangalore
Years of Experience: 5 + years
Education : Fulltime /Regular - Graduation / Diploma
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficient in Win 7 & Win 10 operating systems and good knowledge of file systems and registries
- Proficient in toolsets such as Wise package Studio, Install Shield, SCCM, Altiris etc.
- PowerShell scripting knowledge is required
- Good in technical trouble shooting and problem solving
- Proficient in Application Compatibility Tool Kit
- Experience in VB scripting
- Remediating compatibility issues in win 7/ win 10
- Proficient in ITIL frame work
- Experience in re-packaging complex applications
- Working Knowledge of MSIX technology
- Knowledge on Mac Packaging will be an added advantage.
- Must have Knowledge on application Re-Packaging, Application Compatibility testing and Software Distribution
- Should able to handle all technical customer escalations
Roles & Responsibilities :
- 4-8 years experience in Re-Packaging vendor applications.
- Should be well versed with end to end Application packaging process
- Experience in Process Automation
- Hands on experience on tools like Install Shieldand Windows Installer.
- Ability to analyze and solve technical problems
- Knowledge on Service Now tool.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Should be a Quick Learner and Good Team Player
- Provide technical consultancy and solution support to team in related area of technology
- Trouble shoot and resolve complex packaging issues
- Hands-on experience on Re-Packaging of applications and software distribution
- Cross functional skills in EUC Engineering space.
- Strong domain knowledge of End User Work place management
- Good team player
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Pro- active approach, strong team player
Strong problem solving skills including critical thinking, analysis, negotiation, Ability to work well under pressure and work on multiple projects
