We are inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst, SAP FICO
In this role, you will be responsible to demonstrate innovation and intuition in identifying areas requiring operational adaptation and/or improvement Active user of Internet and online applications.
Responsibilities
Provide subject matter expertise in SAP FICO module.
Understand analytical business requirement to define data source mapping/ logic in SAP.
Source to target mapping - Support functional analyst in finalizing functional specifications, assess source information in SAP, identify tables and define logic to fulfil the functional requirement.
Support in analytics data profiling, testing of business logic, testing of data quality in ABB data lake, testing of final analytics solution against actual requirement
Open to learn and work with multiple data sources besides SAP.
Support when needed in gathering business requirement and building functional specification document.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Functional Analysts, technical teams, developers to ensure clear understanding and translation of functional and data requirements
Pre-qualifies and prioritizes change requests, escalates changes that should be projected to the functional analyst, Project Manager & team
Liaising between users and technical team
Create training collaterals, conduct trainings for users when needed
Identifying potential threats and informing all concerned parties in a timely manner
Support with domain & business process knowledge in Order to Cash/ Transportation & Logistics processes.
Provides guidance or support to development teams, guiding task completion, sharing expert knowledge and advice without carrying line responsibility.
Possess strong time management skills
Keeps up-to-date and informed of ABB technology landscape and ABB IS Strategy planned or ad-hoc changes.
Open to learn and work with different tools and data sources in ABB to support viable analytics solutions
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Post Graduate or Graduate degree or equivalent qualification.
Good Knowledge of data management, MS Excel, Python are preferable.
Good Communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
Good Analytical & Communication skills
Understanding of legal and management reporting requirements
Experience of interacting with business users, taking requirements, preparing project documentation, conducting workshops, UAT walkthrough and signoff etc.
Working experience in SAP BI and Microsoft Power BI reports is a Plus
SAP BPC experience is a Plus
SAP ERP end to end implementation experience is a Plus
Knowledge of Accounting Standards, GAAP, IFRS - Preferred
Basic SQL Queries experience/ knowledge is essential
Experience in working with Business Intelligence / Analytics team- Preferred
