Job Description
We're looking for a highly-skilled senior developer to join a highly motivated and passionate team, working on Heckyl's flagship applications. The ideal candidate will be able to take a requirement through its entire life-cycle, from analysis, architecture and design, to development, testing and implementation. We are a team of industry professionals with decades of experience in software development. This is a position where you will have a visible impact on the product and its success.
Our application is built on the .net stack, leveraging technologies such as C#, asp.net MVC, .net 4.5, VS2013, jquery, signalR, WCF and TFS.
Responsibilities
Collaborating with other technical and business team members on analysis and requirements.
Designing, developing, testing and supporting .NET applications.
Participating in code reviews to ensure adherence to architecture standards, code consistency and maintainability.
Participating in code deployment.
Providing technical support to internal and external clients.
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements
Undergraduate degree in computer sciences or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong experience (minimum 3yrs) developing with C# and .NET
Experience working with Visual Studio 2013
Experience developing both windows forms and web-based applications (ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC)
Practical knowledge of HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS and other web standards
Developing web services (WCF)
Working with source control (TFS)
Design principles (design patterns, OOD -object oriented design) and problem solving with good analytical skills.
jQuery
MVC frameworks
Experience of developing mobile responsive application using Bootstrap
