Inviting applications for the role of Consultant-QA
When building software, we will be going through many stages from initial requirements to go live, it s important to ensure that everything works according to specification. Were looking for a quality assurance engineer to help us maintain our high level of quality. QA tester will seek bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they re dealt with.
In this role, you would be responsible for
Preapare Test plans, test scenarios, and able to perform Test reviews.
Identify appropriate test scenarios to drive smart testing and Support functional team with UAT testing, data staging, integration and functional testing.
Automating test scenarios for Data Qulaity checks, dashboards.
Identify, Prepare and Execute test cases in "Rally" Board (User Story & Defect management tool)
Co-oridinating with scrum master for release planning, estimations, Defect tracking (triage calls) etc.
Executing functional and regression test scenarios and providing (uploading) test results for formal sigoff.
Validation of the backend Data from source files in to the Staging DBs and then further in to Elastic Search(using kibana or postman) and the front end UI.
limited API testing,support to UAT, Unit Tests as well as GoLive activities and associated documentation as per customer guidelines
Contribute to release notes, and other design/configuration document deliverables.
Specify necessary deployment activities for healthy code migrations.
Create, execute, and maintain scripts and tools for various testing frameworks (e.g. regression testing scripts)
Integrate automation components and tests with CI/CD
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and the ability to work in a multi-functional environment.
Optimally able to work as a team member as well as independently.
Qualifications

Minimum qualifications
B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
Experience with Data testing / backend testing projects.
Familiar with database technologies, preferably PostgreSQL tools.
Should be able to design and run complex SQL queries.
testing experience on APIs, Elastic search, kibana/postman tools.
AWS Cloud exposure for handling S3, AWS CLI, Kubernetes services and pods is preferred.
knowledge on Git and kafka process is additional advantage.
Experience using Agile tools such as Rally or JIRA
Ability to work with distributed team members from across the globe ( India, USA & Europe), including time zone flexibility.
Experience in automation framework, Designing automation for Data Quality checks and dashboards.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and be proactive.
Clear Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle with exposure to Agile Methodology.
Must have worked on any of the standard bug reporting tool
Should have excellent analytical skill to find root cause and reproduce the issue.
Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Good usage of MS office tools.
