Job Description
One of our esteemed clients requires Business Analyst for their IT office at Bhandup, Mumbai.
Our client is a dot.com company and is an online platform (available on mobile app and web), which enables paperless transactions for all mutual funds available in India. Our client operates through distributors who can expand their business with the help of the platform. Distributors already dealing in mutual funds can expand their client base and reach with the help of online platform. After initial account creation, investors can transact in mutual funds in few simple steps. Post transaction, the platform helps in tracking the portfolio performance with timely alerts and notifications.
The founder and CEO of the company is having 25+ years of experience in a unique blend of financial technology ,research and data operations. The company is supported by some of the most renowned investors in the world and its name is been included in the list of top 100 fintechs globally for its innovation capabilities and was also AWARDED the best startup company in the year 2018.
As far as partners are concerned, our client has BSE as its business partner and all Asset Management Companies.
Position -Business Analyst
Exp -4-8 Yrs
Salary-10.00 to 14.00 Lakh Per Annum
Location -Bhandup,Mumbai
Responsibilities
Study user requirements and design user experiences and efficient workflows keeping
simplicity in mind
Analyze data to derive patterns that facilitate solution building and drive automation
Design software solutions to problems in the investment domain ranging from data
analysis, algorithms and approaches for developing insightful analysis
Understand and apply financial concepts to technology solutions for business problems
Work with different functional groups to get a better understanding of the challenges
involved and devise optimized solutions
Get involved in testing of the builds
Drive adoption of the platform among target customer groups by sharing more info on
various features / conducting sessions
Work in a fast-paced agile development environment
Ideal Candidates:
Should love creating solutions involving large amounts of data for complex analytical
problems
Knowledge of the financial services domain, specifically the investments and insurance
space.
Exposure to RDBMS and ability to write queries to extract data would be preferable
Should be proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Should have a good understanding of technology; working knowledge in any technology
is a plus.
