Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Research Analyst
This role will involve monitoring happenings across the globe on multiple online platforms to identify and analyze events that will have an impact on the customer s businesses. Based on these findings, insights will be generated as per customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Use trend monitoring tools to scan online resources to identify events that could lead to a surge in user generated content across various platforms
Understand the customer requirement and update the search queries on a continuous basis for effective tracking
Analyse the information and identify how it will impact the customer s processes
Tabulation/consolidation of the data along with actionable insights to be shared with the customer
Maintain reports & spreadsheets for historical data, lead email queues
Hand on experience on Scheduling on Excel (using Erlang or other models) for the Process/Processes to ensure forecasted service level (SL) for the day is met / maximized. In case line staffing is provided, ensuring that the staffing schedules meet the requirements satisfactorily. This can be a weekly, bi-weekly or a monthly activity.
Prepare first level presentation and documents on various transition updates
Work closely with RTAs (Real Time Analysts) to provide WFM support.
Providing insights on existing data to internal/external partners
experience in Scheduling with any WFM tool in call center
Work closely with Operations for daily, weekly & monthly reports
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
Proven market research analysis experience, with a good understanding of metrics used to assess online content
Any Graduate with relevant experience in team handling.
Preferred education background in Mass Communications/Journalism or market research and analysis domain
Preferred qualifications
Prior experience in working with trend monitoring tools for social media or news platforms
Adequate knowledge of data collection methods and basics statistics/math required for data analysis
Strong analytical and quantitative skills and ability to see trends and patterns in data and translate data into insights based on relevance/virality
Flexibility to quickly shift priorities, multi-task, and juggle simultaneous requirements in a fast-paced environment and manage all to completion
Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision to take initiative and follow-up on assigned projects, balanced by good teamwork skills
Curious about technology and ready to experiment with new ways of performing the tasks, with a focus on continuous improvement
