We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, VBA Reporting
In this role, youll be responsible to demonstrate innovation and intuition in improving the processes through MS Excel Macro/VBA automation, project management and BI reporting.
You will be encouraged to have good client management skills and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
Develop Macro/VBA based custom solutions within agreed timelines
Lead captive projects around solution delivery based on VBA coding
Passionate about data intensive tasks like compilation, validation, reconciliations to prepare data for actuarial analyses
Expertise on coding (VBA/ SQL/R, Programming/Python) to automate streamlined processes and to architect and design solutions based on programming technologies
Driving improvement projects wherever required, primarily focusing on ensuring quality, accuracy and timeliness of existing regular reporting requirements
Help and support rest of the team with data queries and simple reporting requirements
Undertaking test plans, implementation plans and governance documents
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
B.Tech Graduate
MCA or M.Sc Post Graduate. Quantitative/ Analytical background
Preferred qualifications
Sound SQL / Oracle knowledge.
Fairly proficient in VBA Scripting and natural ability to reverse engineer the coded business layers
Prior experience in automated tool development and maintenance
High proficiency in a .NET language, C# preferred.
Experience in working in an agile development team is a plus.
Highly developed conceptual, analytical, and innovative problem-solving abilities
Ability to work optimally and reciprocally with others in an international and global team.
