Location : Bangalore Experience : 2 - 5 years Notice period : Immediate - 20 days Skills : Oracle database, ETL, SQL

Job Description

  • Propose scalable and effective technology solutions around Oracle database.
  • Partner with source system SMEs to analyze the data and design dimensional models to integrate with enterprise data warehouse.
  • Design and drive data models that address both current and future data needs, with an approach to model based on what is available vs. required.
  • Provide technical assistance and drive issue resolution in Oracle environments and ODI, Informatica
  • Design and write complex SQL queries and PL/SQL stored procedures and functions with dynamic SQL.
  • Optimize and Performance tuning the queries.
  • Technical document updates. (source-target mapping, tech design, validation rules)

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Oracle database development and ETL tools like ODI
  • Strong background in Data Warehouse, data management and data analytics.
  • Experience and general understanding of Data modeling, Entity Relationship, Use Cases along with hands-on experience in data modeling and data profiling tools.
  • Experience Oracle Physical Database Design and tunning.
  • Strong Oracle application development skills using SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Knowledge of Oracle development best practices.
  • Exposure to performance tuning and SQL tuning of large database environments
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have:

  • Design and develop complex mappings, Process Flows and ETL scripts using ODI mappings, error handling, automation using ODI, Migration of Objects.
    • Setting up topology, building objects in Designer, Monitoring Operator, different type of KMs, Agents and creation and configuration of metadata objects using ODI
