Inviting applications for the role of Consultant-QA
When building software, we will be going through many stages from initial requirements to go live, it s important to ensure that everything works according to specification. Were looking for a quality assurance engineer to help us maintain our high level of quality. QA tester will seek bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they re dealt with.
In this role, you would be responsible for
- Own medium-sized quality engineering tasks, deliver while mentoring and helping team members.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated
- Maintain and expand automated test infrastructures for Microsoft .Net environment using Azure DevOps
- Perform manual testing, creating bugs (in Azure DevOps) when necessary.
- Develop SQL query scripts.
- Automated testing, creating bugs (in Azure DevOps) when necessary.
- Oversee quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new processes to ensure quality goals are met.
- Improve and evolve existing QA processes using contemporary best practices.
- Maintain virtual environments to replicate customer deployments for testing
- Participate in design and implementation of software engineering processes, including source code and build.
- Participate in Quality Assurance meetings presenting observations, feedback, and recommendations.
- Define and develop new QA Processes as needed
- Investigate customer problems referred by the technical support team.
- Qualifications
Minimum qualifications - B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience on building Test Automation Frameworks in Azure Devops.
- Strong experience in writing PL/SQL scripts.
- Experience testing hosted or SaaS-based solutions.
- Familiar with relational database design and good working knowledge of SQL for querying, updating, and deleting data.
- Strong proficiency with functional, regression, performance and stability testing techniques.
- Experience working in a cross-functional development team with the ability to influence quality of products in that environment.
- Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Effective team building and problem-solving abilities.
