Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, DevOps Manager
We are looking for a hands-on technical DevOps Manager who will be working with a global team. The role requires someone who is flexible, able to respond to a dynamic business environment and able to take ownership and responsibility for the delivery deadlines. The candidate should possess good analytical skills, good software engineering skills, a logical approach to problem solving, be able to work in a fast paced environment liaising with demanding stakeholders to understand complex requirements, have experience in complex data domains and be able to prioritize under pressure with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain a scalable, highly available, and high-performing platform to optimize service delivery across all environments throughout the development lifecycle.
- Manage and oversee the DevOps team and related projects.
- Implement automated infrastructure capabilities like backups, security tools, monitoring.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve building, packaging, and deployment processes.
- Monitor systems status and health checks to help maintain operational excellence across our software platform.
- Develop a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the process and ensure end-to-end quality across functions.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor s or Master s Degree
Skills Required
- Experience with building, deploying, administration and monitoring of applications and related infrastructure on Azure.
- Knowledge of deployment/configuration management tools like Jenkins, Maven, etc.
- Knowledge of Docker, and/or Kubernetes technologies
- Knowledge of database platforms such as like MS SQL, Azure SQL, etc
- Experience using version control tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, CVS.
- Necessary familiarity with network infrastructure, database, cloud and data center operations, and security protocols.
