Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant DevOps Engineer, Operations
We are looking for a candidate to stimulate the DevOps process and manage the deployments across the project.
In this role, you will migrate the existing deployment state to use containerization tools, while also driving the DevOps discipline to enhance
the Continuous Integration and Deployment methodologies.
Responsibilities
- 5-8 years of experience
- Work closely with app dev teams across APAC (Pune, Singapore, HK, Japan)
- Manage and support a big build system in the bank
- Well versed with scripting, any kind of experience with high level programming language is a plus (Python, VB, etc.)
- Experience with Ansible, automation tools will be good to have
- Assist & enable Application deployment to target cloud platform along with target CD pipeline
- Exercise Agile practices to provide right level transversal service to teams
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- B.E. Computer Science / MCA
Preferred qualifications/skills
- Experience in IT industry with excellent technical and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent hands-on skills on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Tools and practices (Git, GITHUB,
BitBucket, GitLAB, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Checkmarx), Puppet, Ansible (Deployment Automation).
- Hands-on experience of containerization (Docker) and container orchestrators like Kubernetes (Mandatory).
- Infrastructure automation through Groovy
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in working with transversal team, multi-cultural environment, and onshore- offshore model.
