Function: BIDS - Operations

Inviting applications for the role of JAVA Consultant, BIDS
In this role, you will be responsible for JAVA implementation for one of GENPACT customer.
Be part of a dynamic team working on various JAVA projects under Corp Technologies.
Role and responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Analyzing user requirements and should be able to design java applications that performs optimally.
- Defining application objectives and functionality that Aligns with application design and business goals.
- Should be able to liaison with Ops team and Infra team to obtain clarity on application design and troubleshooting issues.
- Should be able to suggest improvement in Java related processes that are being currently used for the applications
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Minimum 5+ years of Java experience is must.
- Designing and implementing Java-based applications preferably java 1.8 and more.
- Should have good understanding on MVC architecture.
- Hands on experience on Core Java, Multithreading, Data Structures.
- Experience Using Spring MVC, Micro services, Servlets and JSP.
- Experience with SQL is must.
- Experience with PLSQL is an added advantage.
- Ability to handle server side issues with WebLogic, Apache tomcat.
- Must have skills with build tools like Maven.
- Must be able to work with Eclipse, Spring tool suite and also Oracle J developer.
- Developing and testing software.
- Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
- Producing detailed design documentation.
- Must have good analytical and problem solving skills
- Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure.
- Ensuring continuous professional self-development.
