Inviting applications for the role of Databricks and Python Developer
Responsibilities
- Ensuring support and guidance to team members on technical front on setting up environment in Azure cloud for building Data & Analytics platform
- Collaborate with teams to help them understand the technical implementation of solutions; understand their needs to enhance solution keeping in view of product
- To work in capacity of Azure Pyspark developer
- Develop solutions as per the specification.
- Able to translate functional and technical requirements into detail design.
- Work with partners for regular updates, requirement understanding and design discussions.
Qualifications/Minimum qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor s degree in quantitative discipline with Solid applicable experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Good knowledge of SQL Server development, Azure Data Factory, Azure Automation, Power-shell scripting, SQL databases
- AZURE Cloud platform services stack - SQL Database, AZURE Data Warehouse, Azure databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage, HD Insight, Cosmos DB, etc.
- Hands-on experience on scripts for custom ETL processes and automation in Azure data bricks, Python, Pyspark etc.
- Hands-on experience crafting and developing stored procedures/functions and using it ETL packages/workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience using tools like Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Container Instances, Azure API Management, Azure PowerShell, REST APIs
- Big Data Frameworks: Spark, Hadoop, Map-Reduce, Hive
- Superb communication skills is a must
- Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to handle team and client discussions
