Process Developer, IT Asset Management
In this role, you should possess good relationship management skills with colleagues, seniors & leads. The role requires decent verbal and written communication capabilities.
Responsibilities
Ensure the capture of complete and accurate Asset information for all infrastructure, and the accurate representation in the ADB
Ensure that Asset data remains accurate in the light of changes to infrastructure, and ensure that all updates are made in a controlled manner
Assist the wider community in mitigation of Control Issues that are dependent on the ITAM processes or policies as defined
Ensure the ITAM team operates according to their defined function, and individual members are allocated the correct work according to the role they perform
Monitor the agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and ensure all targets are met relating to delivery
Provide timely updates to management, detailing priorities, and progress, against the ITAM strategy
Define and implement service improvements where required
Assist the ITAM Process Owner in defining and implementing any new processes or procedures, or changes to existing ones
Ensure that the integrity of the ADB is maintained and integrated with other key operational processes especially with incident management
Perform Audits
Conduct periodic trainings to the internal and external stakeholders
Gather reporting requirements and accountable to deliver on ad-hoc basis
Ensure the stakeholder understand and follow all relevant policies and procedures relevant to their function
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, Service Managers and Tools & Support Teams
Escalate any issues to management in a timely manner
Be a visible leader across the team and Technology Operations
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Bachelors degree in Commerce / Computer Science / equivalent
Awareness / exposure of holistic level IT Infrastructure setup
Relevant experience in core IT Service Management (IT Asset management)
Possess good hold in reporting logics for KPI s / process metric from IT Asset Management perspective with a good hand in MS Excel based reporting & Power Point
Exposure to ITSM ticketing platform (Remedy / Service Now etc.)
You will need problem-solving skills and the ability to logically break down a problem into smaller manageable parts to solve
You should be an Individual contributor and a team player
Ability to work effectively in virtual, geographically dispersed, and cross-cultural environments
Preferred qualifications
ITIL v3 / v4 Foundation certified
HAM certified
