About the Team
Our team has built World's best-embedded and host technologies for print and scan. And our customers include leading MFP and Printer manufacturers around the world. Our print technologies span multiple print segments: Graphic Arts, Digital Printing, Wide Format, and Office Printing. No matter whether people 'Print for Earning' (Big Presses printing - Magazines, News Papers, Banners, Packages, etc.) or they 'Print because they Earn' (Office & Home printers), they most probably use our print technology. Work involves deep domain (PDF, PostScript etc.), but it also spreads across multiple platforms and operating systems. We also own patented Scan technology that generates high quality, intelligent, searchable, reflowable, compact, secure PDFs from color or b/w scanned images. All kind of digital security is implemented in both Print & Scan workflows.
Job Description
A embedded SDET with experience in Linux runtime environment who can write code to test and debugs SDK products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for the Adobe products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing.
The ideal candidate should have recent hands-on development, or QA expertise with C++ and embedded Linux (embedded HW architectures, the Linux kernel, build environments, etc.).
The challenge
  • White box testing in C++ for Printing and Scan Solutions.
  • Developing or adapting testing tools for functional area is a must.
  • Analyze test results and debug test failures.
  • Consult with development engineers on debugging and defect resolution.
  • For specific projects, communicate the test strategy, tactical execution plans, and test results to various functional groups.
  • Drive the test automation by developing new solutions, and maintaining existing test automation code.
  • Serve as the Quality team interface to Product Development team and Management.
  • Good team player.

Required Skills:
  • White box Testing in C++.
  • Good knowledge of C++ programming concepts and data structures
  • Good understanding of: GCC, CMake, Make, Cross vs Native Compilation, Linux Memory Model etc.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Experience of using GDB, & Valgrind is required.
  • Experience in Embedded Linux Software
  • Hands on working on various tools like Git, Eclipse, & JIRA

Nice to have:
  • Experience in Shell, or Python Scripting to write automated test cases.
  • Experience on testing ARM/X86 based board series platform.
  • Experience of testing and certifying components on multiple hardware configurations optimally is required.
  • Knowledge of SCM activities using GIT/Perforce and developing different build & test jobs using Jenkins.

Qualifications:
  • B.E. /B.Tech. In CS/ETC/EE or equivalent qualifications with 2 to 4 years of experience
  • Candidates are required to have good scores throughout education.
