Job Description

Main Responsibilities

1. Vendor Development / Vendor Management
2. Supply Chain Management
3. Purchase & Procurement of Material
4. Material Management
5. Direct Purchase of Raw materials, Project and Transport Equipment
6. Computer Proficiency
7. Strong Negotiation Skills
8. Communication Skills and Spoken English
9. Pleasing Personality
10. Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors
11. Evaluate vendors quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project
12. Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions
13. In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules
14. Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
15 Assist in ISO Annual Performance Review for vendors
16. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation
17.Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements
18. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
