Job Description
Job Title:Core Java Developer
Job Location:Coimbatore
Duration: Full time
Exp:3-6 Years
Job Summary:
You are a high-performance engineer expected to work in a product squad and deliver solutions for a medium to large-scale client. You are a strong core Java or Micro services Developer.
Experience Guidelines and Mandatory skills:
- 2-5 years of experience in building large-scale, high-volume, low latency, high availability and complex distributed services.
- A hands-on Senior developer who has delivered at least 3 medium-scale projects from ground zero.
Solution and Productionize- Must Have
- Understand requirement, design and implement solution components based on established patterns
- Experience in object-oriented, SOLID, and DRY principles, reactive programming model, microservices and event driven solutions (Good to have)
- Understand application security, compliance and data security at network and Application layer (Good to have)
Language && Frameworks and Database - Must Have
- Worked extensively on Java language Java 8 and above, having used concurrency, multithreaded models, blocking/non-blocking IO, lambdas, streams, generics, advance libraries, algorithm, and data structures.
- Executed database DDL, DML, modeling, managed local transnational scenarios and experience with NoSQL or SQL based DBs in the past.
- Extensively used Micro services, Hibernate,Spring boot/ Spring cloud or similar frameworks to deliver complex scalable solution
- Used build and Automation tools, Code Quality Plugins, CI/CD Pipelines and Containerization platforms (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Used logging and Monitoring solutions like Splunk, ELK, Grafana etc. and implement technical KPIs.
- Used application profiling tools like jProfiler, Yourkit, Visual VM etc.
- Writing JUnit test cases, mocking e.g. Mockito, Power Mockito, EasyMock, etc.
Skills - Good to have
- Cloud platforms e.g. AWS/GCP/Azure/ PCF
- Messaging & event driven systems like e.g. RabbitMQ/IBM MQ Kafka/ cloud messaging/ enterprise messaging
- Applied distributed caching solutions like Redis, Memcache, etc.
- Knowledge on Web & UI Technologies,Devops, more specifically CI/CD.
- Worked on APIs and associated tooling
- A keen explorer having worked on evolving technology trends. Tools
- Memory management, GC, and GC tuning.
- BDD automation tools like Cucumber, JBehave etc.
- Execute performance and security tests addressing non-functional requirements
