JOB TITLE: VP India Operations

Location : Hyderabad (with periodic travel to Pune)
Reporting : Managing Director India
Experience level: 20+ years
Job Description:

Own and lead product engineering, product implementation & support operations and the Enterprise IT operations (India ), working closely with the global leaders and the India leadership & teams.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Leading the team through management, mentorship & thought leadership
Planning & optimizing budgets, capacity and capability within the functions
Driving consistency of quality through policies, standards and governance
Ensuring adherence to scope & schedule and achievement of business objectives in all deliverables from the various functions aligned into this role
Driving ownership of outcomes within the teams at all levels
Driving culture of innovation and relentless improvement through the organization
Optimizing cross-functional ways of working and integration to continually improve customer outcomes and experience
Recommending/enabling choice of technology, tools & methods to drive efficiencies and effectiveness within the various functions
Driving high levels of connect with the employees through visible, accessible and authentic leadership
Ensuring continuous learning within the organization through various initiatives, programs & platforms
Taking complete accountability for all deliverables and outcomes through the various functions aligned into the role
Qualifications:

The right candidate will be a leader who has been successful in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and is expected to have the following characteristics:
Experience in leading a geographically distributed, cross-functional organization of over 1000 people
Proven ability to lead and inspire engineering & operations leaders and professionals to succeed in a continuously evolving & highly competitive market
Consistent track record of delivering highly competitive products that meet delivery commitments and business objectives, using contemporary methodologies and techniques
Proven track record of deploying and managing successful enterprise products and running product operations in an organization
Ability to link technology solutions to business needs & problems to support the evolution of the business
Ability to represent business & technical solutions in executive and/or customer forums
Requirements

Over 20 years successful experience in leading product engineering and/or operations
Strong organizational leadership skills
Extensive experience in building & managing high-performing teams
Previous experience of developing software products and managing operations for enterprise applications
Capable of fostering an entrepreneurial culture: flexible, resourceful, figure-it-out-and- get-it done mentality
Must be knowledgeable of industry trends and best practices
Highly self-motivated, energetic and passionate professional
Educational Qualifications: BE/B. Tech in CS/IT/EC or ME/M. Tech in CS/IT/EC

Keeps abreast of latest market trends, proven track record of Innovation, mentoring & role model, Industry spokesperson, thought technology leadership
Prior experience holding a senior level role, with a functional or product level ownership is highly desirable
