We would like to inform you that one of our prestigious clients in Venture Gulf Engineering W.L.L Qatar is looking for suitable candidates for the above position for their ongoing project in Garage / Auto Workshop,
A detailed Job Descriptions (JD)
Qualification / Experience: Over 8-10 years of proven experience working in a similar Garage workshop Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant field Trade Certificate III in Automotive (Light or Heavy Vehicle)
Extensively demonstrated recent relevant work experience
Preference for Heavy Vehicle Motor Vehicle Inspectors Certificate
Post trade qualifications in hydraulics, auto-electric and diesel engines
Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Experience leading a team Customer service skills
Demonstrated commitment to a customer service culture and delivery of quality service
Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety Legislation, Standards and Guidelines
First Aid Certificate
General Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects and daily activities within the workshop
Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are actively followed and maintained at a high level.
Manage the operational aspects of the facility to drive improvement in service delivery.
Oversee the management of the team ensuring regular and clear communication is in place.
Ensure all the necessary equipment, resources and systems are in place.
Assist in ensuring that customer concerns / feedback are monitored, progressed and closed down
Monitor the performance and potential of the team and provide the direction, training and motivation necessary to secure their optimum commitment, competency and maximum efficiency
Confer with customers to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems and to discuss work to be performed.
Estimate costs and time required for repair or maintenance of the vehicle.
Plan, organize and coordinate the day-to-day running of the garage, e.g. by writing work orders and by arranging for garage staff to perform necessary maintenance and repair work on vehicles.
Repair, maintain and service vehicles and their mechanical and electronic components.
Ensure that necessary spare parts, materials and equipment are available or obtainable at short notice.
Check the activities in the garage, inspect completed work for compliance with safety and other statutory regulations, and make sure defects are repaired or adjusted.
Salary & Remunerations Basic Salary QAR 8,000/- to QAR 10,000/- Per Month (Negotiable)
House Rent Allowance QAR 3,500/- Per Month
Transport Allowance QAR 1,500/- Per Month
