We have an urgent opening for AM/DM - Medical Coding - (HCC coding with Certification) at Apexon Chennai
Job Description:
- Good coding knowledge and experience in HCC coding with certification
- Ensure adherence to external and internal quality and security standards (HIPPA / HITECH / ISO).
- Timely intervention to improve quality..
- Proficient in preparing Day-to-Day report, Week end report, month end report, coding profile Report, Daily quality report, and monthly quality report.
- Manage the delivery of services and P&L
- Production planning monthly, weekly and daily queue management, movement of resource on need basis.
- Guide Operations on functional aspects of coding and endeavor to improve coding standards in the team and Manage high Customer Satisfaction Level
- Taking actions based on feedback from Clients satisfaction survey
- Reviewing the Trend on weekly basis and analyzing the reasons if there is any deviation
- Closely work with the billing team for clearing the edits and addressing the denial accounts
- Manage the overall performance management of the team
Job Specification:
- Medical coding certification through either AAPC or AHIMA: CPC/COC/CIC/CCS.
- Strong understanding of healthcare principles and concepts.
- Good at Process Documentation, creating SOPs & Process mapping.
- Strong Client interaction and Management Skills.
- Good Communication Skills, Analytical Skills and Interpersonal Skills
- Strong background in diagnosis coding.
