Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• As an integral part of the development team you will be responsible for the following
•  Understand the business requirements from the functional team
• Transforming the business requirements to Technical Design (high level and low-level using the ideal data modelling techniques
• Walk-through of the Design with Client Technology team and obtain signoff
• Estimate the development efforts for the assigned functions.
• Track the development on alignment with the Design principles and Coding Standards.
• Conduct Code Reviews for early detection of defects and code quality
• Assisting in defect fix during System Testing, SIT, UAT and Non-Regression Testing.
• Additionally, contribute to the upliftment of existing design/ code for alternates that can help in flexibility and scalability.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Any Computer Science based graduation
• 3-12 years in software development
• Strong knowledge in data modelling with the ability to create optimised design
• Excellent hands-on coding and design skills in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL with exposure to analytical functions and data modelling.
• Strong expertise in Query fine-tuning to ensure optimised execution
• Experience in Banking Domain
• Knowledge of UNIX is an added advantage Our Ideal Candidate
• Preferably from Banking domain
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
• Hands-on design and development experience in writing Oracle queries, store, procedures, packages that are fine-tuned to be of good performance and handle high volume.
• Hands-on Development expertise in creation of common frameworks and modules for reusability.
• Desire to get upskilled to latest in technologies and implement them in the project.
