Job description--
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Development of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Packaging Materials. Develop, design, finalize and issue artworks for existing & new products.
2. Developing new packs as per Marketing requirement.
3. Co-ordination with Planning/ QA/ QC/ Purchase/ Production/ R&D/Regulatory for any change-over or new product launch.
4. Checking of Artworks and Shade Cards for labels, Primary & Secondary packing materials.
5. Development & procurement of change part for different packaging machines (domestic & export market) in coordination with production.
6. Preparation of Packaging Bill of Material for Domestic & Export market.
7. Carry out continuous improvement in the existing packaging materials.
8. Based on the feedback from the plant & marketing, carry out improvements in the pack.
9. Carry out vendor assessment for quality system check, make necessary improvement at their end, and make prototype samples for trial purpose.
10. Initiation for cost saving projects and its implementation as per timelines.
Key Skill
Knowledge of Printing process used for packaging materials.
Knowledge of Packaging materials and packaging processes
