Job Description
Able to read and understand the Commissioning Procedures and Electrical Drawings .Understand and carries out oral and written directions.
Must have reasonable English language reading/speaking skills.
Be responsible for the identification of and reporting of safety violations or concerns.
Attend the TBT (Tool Box Talking) and JHA (Job Hazard Analyses) discussions with his supervisor. Be familiar with the LOTO (Lock Out-Tag Out) Procedure.
Be generally responsible for the duties that will be assigned to them by his Supervisor.
The candidate for this role has to demonstrate good technical experience (Oil & Gas Industry preferred) and teamwork skills (must work well in a team environment). Also, the candidate needs to demonstrate good work habits (attendance, safety, housekeeping).
Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, subcontracts/vendors, client.
Operates the plant equipment, when required, following the approved Commissioning Procedures.
Must have experience in the specific commissioning activities such us: LV Switchboards, Transformers, lighting panels and circuits, Concrete and process Heat tracing system, UPS, LV & MV Motors, etc.
Required to have experience in Oil & Gas Industry, preferable in units similar to ALNG2 Project.
Execute the following tasks as per Supervisor instructions and the task documents :
Energization of lighting and heaters of containers from temporary power supply
Commissioning of UPS's (Assist vendor)
Monitoring of electrical parameters on UPS's and batteries
Commissioning of Temporary and Permanent LV Switchboards (Assist vendor)
Commissioning of Diesel Generators
Feeders check
Motor Solo Run Test
Commissioning of Lighting panels & circuits
Commissioning of concrete heat tracing circuits and Process heat tracing circuits
Assist process team for OTPs execution
Provide assistance for instrument and process team (power supply)
Reinstatement of permanent electrical system
