Job Description
An important senior position in the organization to take care of Production Department of electronic components, mechanical and PCB fabrications, connectors and wiring harness and any other item that is relevant to Production, R&D and day to day operations of the organization
Skills & Qualifications
- Engineering Graduate/Post Graduate or equivalent preferably in Electronics/Communications/ with 8 + Yrs experience
- Experiencein Electronic and Embedded System design Manufacturing for Defence & Aerospace industries
- In-depth knowledge in ET & EMI/EMC compliance testing
- In-depth knowledge in ISO 9001/ AS 9100 or any other QMS
- In-depth familiarity with CEMILAC and DGAQA process and procedure & documentation for airworthiness certification
- In-depth knowledge of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, JSS-55555
- Preparation of documents and review documents such as De-rating Analysis, Reliability Analysis, Quality Assurance Plan, Qualification Test Procedure and Acceptance Test Procedure
- Interaction with the certificate agencies to get the documents approval at various design stages
Implementing POKA-YOKE, suggestion/improvement activities for improving the in-house quality & to prevent from customer complaint and improve quality aspects
Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Stage-wise / In- process quality inspection cum verification
- Final product quality planning and assurance
- Coordinating with Inspection authorities & certifying agencies.
- Preparing QAP/ Inspection & Review plans, Inspection Checklists for new products.
- Scheduling, coordinating & conducting Environmental tests (ET)/ Qualification tests (QT), Environmental stress screening (ESS) & EMI/EMC Debugging knowledge will be added advantage.
- First article approval for new product or development projects
- Implementing and maintaining AS 9100 activities and processes
- Co-ordinating External Quality Assurance Audits and Customer Audits and conducting Supplier audits.
- Scheduling and Conducting Internal Quality Assurance Audits, Management Review meeting (MRM) and Trainings on QMS practices. Coordinating, Training & Counseling regularly for improving Quality & Productivity.
- CEMILAC related Audits and reports
- Calibration and Maintenance of Equipment and Library and Project documents
- Responsible for developing/ compiling/ reviewing technical training manuals.
- Facilitate FMEA through Risk Analysis and Mitigation- Identify, eliminate (or) reduce the potential failure modes of product & process
- CFT member for New product design and development and Reviewing the processes and product compliance
- Monitoring daily rejections & conducting DRM along with the relevant department for corrective action
- Responsible for review and releasing of project design outputs.
- Verification Technical process and documents and ensuring reviews are happening at appropriate stages.
- Ensuring conversion of Customer requirements in to product quality & preparation for Quality documents.
- MRB and Responsible for Supplier selection. Approving and monitoring of outsourced processes through Supplier evaluation/ revaluation and improving processes and products through SCAR.
- Responsible for analysis of the in-house/ customer quality complaints and identify corrective action through CA Report & 8D analysis
- Responsible for conducting product audit, process audit & Configuration management audits
- Conducting Customer Satisfaction Surveys and taking corrective actions for improvement.
- Key member of safety committee
