Job Description
Job Summary-We are looking for a passionate Ayurvedic Doctor who is speaicalize in understanding and guiding on the basic Ayurveda principles, working of yoga, medication, food and nutrition, rejuvenation therapies, Panchakarma.
As an Ayurvedic doctor, you are responsible for treating the patients holistically with traditional ayurvedic medicine. And also responsible for balancing the body, mind, and spirit as well as promoting a good lifestyle. You will be using various massage techniques and procedures during consultations when required. You should possess an extraordinary ability to communicate with the patients in a calm manner. In addition to this, should have amazing counseling skills and the ability to manage multiple clients at a time efficiently
Requirement-
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery(BAMS) or MD (Ayu) in any department
Expertise in all ayurvedic concepts and treatments.
Empathy, kindness and understanding.
Must have passion for formulations of ayurvedic medicines and formulations
Keen diagnostic ability and managing medical complexities
In- depth knowledge of herbs and ayurvedic remedies
Training and experience of Panchkarma therapy
Responsibilities-
Handling daily OPD and IPD
Examining and talking to patients to diagnose their medical condition
Management of medical/health problems presented by patients
Working cohesively with the team at the centre comprising nutritionists and centre manager to achieve monthly centre targets
Supervising the administering of classical Panchkarma therapies
History taking , diagnosis , investigation recommendations , planning herbs
Preparation of suitable plans for the patient as per his/her condition
Advising patient/client how to take appropriate herbs and advising lifestyle changes for management of weight and medical condition
Patient health monitoring: Regular follow- up with patient/client to review progress and health
Documenting and keeping record of treatment
Participate in ongoing trainings to upgrade knowledge base and skills
Presenting Ayurvedic products
Assigning the daily schedules for the Therapist
Monitoring Therapist training
Provide instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork
Reporting to the Center Head and/or Medical Director
Assistance in ongoing research projects
